As we knew he would, Georgie the Bungler Will Leave
His Iraq Mess For Future Presidents
All Senate Republicans Support the Pass The Buck Strategy
We at BringItOn knew all along that "Mission Accomplished" was not the phrase that the Joint Chiefs would have chosen
for the Iraq situation in May 2003. But the propagandists of the Bush Administration decided to post it on that aircraft
carrier for that photo op.
THREE AND A HALF YEARS LATER (October, 2006) and "Mission
Accomplished" has become Mission Impossible!
There is no end in sight to the American Occupation of Iraq. The Iraqi Civil War is underway as hundreds
of Iraqi's die everyday in sectarian violence while Georgie and Rummy scratch their heads.
Just like W's inept 5 year effort to deliver Osama Bin Laden, Bush is ready to pass on the mess in Iraq to
a future president, Congress and military.
When asked, if there would come a day when there would be no more U.S. forces in Iraq, Bush said at his March 2006
News Conference:
"That, of course, is an objective. And that will be decided by future presidents and future
governments of Iraq."
Such is the strategy of the irresponsible. Start something, creat a mess and leave it for someone else to clean
up. Then you can blame your successor for failing to solve problems you would have solved if only you had more
time.
Truth is, Bush bungled Iraq. We can only hope that W does not invade North Korea and Iran in the last
drunken days of his failed presidency for future Americans to handle.
But the deranged, insulated and brain-impaired leader who has been led around by Dick Cheney is not alone.
Every member of the Republican Party has been right there with him!
Every Republican Senator backs the Pass the Buck Strategy because Karl Rove has convinced
them this is a winning issue. The Republicans running for President are perfectly willing to inherit the Iraqi
mess from the Bush Administration.
Recently converted evangelical Republican Senator John McCain (R-AZ) said "We cannot pull
out and hope for the best," ... calling redeployments now "a significant step on the road to disaster."
Republican Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) likewise dismissed a timetable for leaving Iraq:
"We have to see this through to a successful conclusion."
Republican Senator of Nebraska Chuck Hagel (R-NE) said "We should
not limit the commander in chief's options in Iraq,"
Republican Senator Billy Frist (R-TN), the Senate's majority leader, said "Leaving Iraq
to the terrorists is simply not an option."
Republican Senator George "cut and run" Allen (R-VA) said "This is not a time to get
weak in the knees." Instead this is the time to stuff some deer heads in some Iraqi mailboxes?
These "tough talkin" Republican Senators fully support spilling more American blood
to hold back the full-scale Iraqi civil war that will commence whether the US leaves tomorrow or twenty years
from now. And just to show you how devoted they are, they are spending hundreds of billions
of your tax dollars to prop up a government that will crumble.
We at bringiton are not about to say that every republican is a totally useless piece of air-sucking flesh. We always
believed that they could spot a good investment. That is why we puzzled over their support of the Iraq Occupation and
the hundreds of billions they have throw away there.
Hold ON, lightbulb, lots of those republicans are making a fortune in Iraq! Destroy, Employ US Contractors, Destroy
And Repeat. US contractors supply the troops, feed them, etc.
Not only that, these fools represent less than 3% of the population of the United States in
the Senate while Senators representing a majority of United States citizens have called for some responsibility on Iraq.
